Dr Maria Gonzalez
Dr Maria Gonzalez is at present the Acting Head of the Dermatology Section at Cardiff University. She leads the Teaching & Learning activities in the Department which has an international reputation for the delivery of high quality dermatology education. She is a Reader in Dermatology with multiple publications in peer-reviewed dermatology journals. Her research interest is focused on the use of light and lasers in the treatment of acne vulgaris and she is at present investigating the clinical and molecular basis of the therapeutic action of these treatments.
